Vintage report | There was relatively high rainfall over winter which resulted in slightly later budburst with good growing conditions throughout spring. Winds were a factor during flowerings poor fruit set meant smaller bunches and lower crops through our vineyard as well as extremes: 40-plus days, cold temperatures, storms, strong winds and large amounts of water in the space of a few hours. Overall our wines from this vintage are some of our best, we only wish we were able to produce more!! |
