This wine shows aromas of musk sticks, apricot with a hint of pear. Served ice cold it can appear quite herbaceous at the beginning before opening up.
You’ll find a grippy mouthfeel with green apple and citrus with a chalky long finish.
From the wine maker:
Picked at the start of March with a Baume of 10.5, pH 3.23 and TA 6.3. The grapes were whole bunch pressed for fermentation in stainless tanks. Once fermentation had completed the wine was transferred to 4 mature French oak barrels for 14 months before bottling.
