Vintage overview

2017 was marked by good rainfall especially during spring and cool to mild temperatures that continued into summer. Rain and wind at flowering meant Lower yields than usual. the warm summer that finally arrived had no major heat spikes which meant perfect growing conditions for the vines and fruit quality was exceptional.

Winemaking overview

Handpicked, whole bunch pressed, fermented in stainless steel tanks using only wild yeasts and temperature control. aged in stainless steel for 10 months with a small amount of battonage before being blended back together and bottled.
